A wooden cabin / shop and outside an area where the dogs do dog runs ($10 per person). Once inside you enter through the gift shop. The museum itself is free and that is what we found fascinating. We are completely new and naive to Iditarod. The museum and video really brought us to to speed on the history, the importance and dedication to the race.

It's a nice little museum with lots of interesting info and items from the race, and a nice video about the dogs. The dog cart ride is kinda short, but it's also a pretty unique experience so I'd still recommend going when that's available.

It houses an interesting museum full of various artefacts, trophies and exhibits about the iconic Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. It also has a well stocked gift shop and offers an opportunity to 'meet' some of the dogs and their puppies and to even have a ride on a wheeled cart pulled by the sled dogs at $10 per person.
